我 会 产生 写 这 本 书 的 动机 ，是 见到 许多 新近 移民 到 加拿大 的 人 ， 由于 缺乏 语言 技能 和 文化 方面 的 知识 ，而 经历 到 许多 困境 所 引起 的 。 假如 你 是 住 在 加拿大 的 移民 ，或是 正 打算 移民 到 加拿大 来 ， 下面 这些 有关 加拿大 的 背景 ，也许 会 对 你 有 些 帮助 。
