就是 这块 长 12 米 断成 两截

横躺 在 海底 40 米 之下 的 巨石

意大利 国家 海洋 研究所 的

研究 人员 就 提取 了 巨石 中 的 几块 贝壳 碎片

然后 用 放射性 碳定年法 发现

巨石 的 年代 应该 是 在 4 万年 前

但是 这 只是 证明 巨石 的 表面 可能 形成 于 4 万年 前

并 不 代表 古人 就是 在 4 万年 前 制造 的 它

所以 研究 人员 就 使用 了 另外 一个 方法

来 推断 它 的 制造 时间

大约 在 19000 年 前

当时 地球 处于 末次 冰 盛期

当时 的 欧洲 海岸线 充满 了 厚厚 的 冰层

所以 比 现在 的 欧洲 要 大 上 40%

但是 随着 冰川 的 融化

从 那时 到 现在

海平面 上升 了 大约 125 米

而 这样 的 海平面 上升

就 严重 的 影响 了 潘泰 莱里 亚岛 附近 的 海域

科学家 们 认为 在 冰川 还 没有 融化 之前

意大利 南部 和 突尼斯 之间

本来 是 存在 着 一个 狭长 的 群岛
